As they started singing, you could hear the audience collectively thinking, “Is this a performance or a fabulous therapy session?” At one point, Elton paused, looked at Chappell, and said, “I haven’t been this excited since I found out they were making a sequel to ‘The Lion King!’”
The best part? When they got to the line about the pink ponies, the crowd erupted in laughter, and someone yelled, “I knew I should have brought my glittery horse costume!” The whole thing turned into a karaoke party, with everyone joining in, proving that nothing unites people like a catchy song about a pink pony club—except maybe free snacks!
